The BnF will organize a series of six conferences that will be held at the small auditorium of the François Mitterrand site of the BnF. These conferences will take place every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, starting November 14th and will be freely accessible to the extent that places are available:

Symposium Tolkien and the war

On 24th and 25th of January 2020, the BnF and the Army museum organize a symposium about Tolkien and the war.

Catalog of the exhibition

On the occasion of this exhibition, on October 17 the BnF will publish a catalog edited by Frédéric Manfrin and Vincent Ferré. This catalog (in French) is distinct from the Oxford Tolkien exhibition: Tolkien: Maker of Middle-earth. It will be entitled Tolkien — Voyage en Terre du Milieu (Tolkien — Journey to Middle-earth).
